The Storm

Boom.

A hundred angels bowling

In the Heavens.

A quick flash

Lights up the room

An angel bowls

Another strike.

Houses shakes,

Pictures rattle

But I am safe

Protected by arms

And shielded

By your side.

Your smile reaches

The light reflecting in your eyes.

You whisper,

“It’s only thunder.”

      1. Oh Kayla that’s so nice of you to say so, and yes to treasure and appreciate love is what life is all about.
“Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin Dance me through the panic ’til I’m gathered safely in Lift me like an olive branch and be my homeward dove Dance me to the end of love” – Leonard Cohen.
