“There is nothing new under the sun.”
Usually this quote is applied to writing. Everything has been said and there is no story left to tell that has not been told. (I would argue differently, but that is for another blog post). However, I will argue that in today’s society we struggle with plagiarism on a larger scale than every before.
I am not going to spend a long time talking about what I think plagiarism is. Instead, I am opening it up to YOU — the bloggers of WordPress.
What is plagiarism? Is it something that can only happen in school or can it happen online too? Can a blogger plagiarize? Can an author plagiarize? Where does research meet plagiarizing? What are examples of plagiarizing?
In your own words and in your own examples, can you explain to me what you think plagiarism is?

Interesting that the Bible contains a verse like that. I can’t say I have ever had my attention drawn to it before. To me plagiarism is when you take and idea and more or less copy it. If you add your own unique ideas and approach to an old story line I don’t think that is plagiarism.

They were spoken by David in Ecclesiastes 1. You should read it, it’s a great chapter.
It definitely depends on how much originality is added.

According to me whenever you copy someone else without giving them their due credits thats plagiarism
